Couple Goals Is Nearly Complete!

Howdy all,

Great news, Couple Goals is nearly complete! The crew have been working hard to get this film ready and shiny for the festival run! As the Producer, I am incredibly delighted and proud of the hard working cast and crew!

In the next few months we should be rolling in the festivals, so we will keep you up to date with if and when we make it into festivals (and we'll all go to said festival to drink and cheer!). I agreed to produce this short not only because it was charming and funny, it was also because they had a great series script pilot. I only agree to being involved with projects if their is future plans. It's great to make something, but to make it with a plan to expand, to aim higher, that is exactly what I look for.

What's Couple Goals?

‘Couple Goals’ is a comedy mockumentary. It follows struggling journalist Alayla Jago who, aspiring to make a high-minded documentary about influencer culture, follows Carol & Dean, a 30-something influencer couple who unbendingly believe lads should be blokes, chicks should be babes, and that neither should, or will ever, make a mistake. Ever. 

Seeing how much discomfort Carol & Dean force on themselves to practice the web of rules they preach, Alayla wrestles with the temptation to influence their behaviour to even further extremes for the camera.
