Moustache Man Update!

Hey everyone!
Moustache Man, my film about being a carer (from my own experience), featuring the brilliant Josie Lawrence, the equally brilliant Mark Gatiss, the equally brilliant Eboni Dixon and sometimes alright Sean Joseph Young, is currently in it’s festival run!
At this point in time, MM is entered into 14 festivals. We have made it into two so far (Woo!).
We will look to enter more festivals if necessary, depending on how the film is looking after a few months of results. We are hopeful it will do well, but you never know with these things. There is still a chance we won’t make it into any more festivals, even though I get Mark to explode into millions of beautiful stars during the most dramatic part (health and safety were furious).
I still regard the film days to be the most fun I’ve ever had on set. The crew, the cast, everyone was just absolutely on it. The balance of directing and acting can be an arduous and hair pulling task, but if you are working with absolute professionals that you trust, it really can be such a valuable experience.
It was made even better by working with Josie, who I’ve always been a huge fan of and was desperate to get her to play my Mum (that’s for another post) and of course the wonderful Mark Gatiss, who is such a huge part of my life and an excellent mentor/someone to moan at. If I could work with them both forever, even in a small shop selling cakes, I would.
If you’d like the unabridged version of this post about Moustache Man, working with Mark and Sepp Blatter's awful propaganda film, consider joining the Patreon from only $1 (you can pay more if you like)! The money will help me direct more time towards making more helpful and interesting articles/content!
Have a lovely day,
Sean x
